The numbers drawn on Monday night were 5, 13, 21, 28. There was no winner. There were 6 “match three’s”; Mary Muldoon, Nicola Connaire, Adrian Power, Sharon Finnerty, Stacey Byrnes, Donna Mulkerrins. The sellers prizes went to Enda Morrissey, Carmel Moran and David Corcoran. The next draw for a jackpot of €7,600 takes place in Gallaghers, Monday September 4.

MATCH REPORT : In Loughrea on Sunday, there was a repeat of the 2022 and 2021 county finals when Sarsfields took on Oranmore Maree. Sarsfields got off to the perfect start scoring 1-3 in the opening 6 minutes. Caoimhe Kelly got the opening score of the game when she broke through for a goal. Siobhán McGrath followed up with two points while Kelly got her first point of the day on the 6th minute to leave it 1-3 to 0-0 in favour of Sarsfields. Ailish O’Reilly opened Oranmore Maree’s accounts on the 7th minute but Shannon Corcoran replied with one from play to leave six between the sides. O’Reilly followed up with three frees between the 12th and 16th minutes to leave three between the sides heading into the 2nd quarter of the game. Kelly replied for Sarsfields but it was Oranmore Maree who finished out the half the strongest with three Eimear O’Donovan frees and a point from Rebecca Grealish on the 29th minute. This left the sides deadlocked at half-time, Sarsfields 1-4 Oranmore Maree 0-7.

It was Sarsfields who started the second half the strongest, with a free through McGrath and a point from Corcoran. O’Donovan followed up with a free on the 34 th minute to leave the minimum between the sides but Sarsfields started to get a grip on the game. Frees from McGrath and a long range effort from Maria Cooney and two well taken points from Klara Donohue on the stand side of Loughrea left five between the sides with 17 minutes left to go. Rachel Hanniffy, who was having a great game for Oranmore Maree followed up with a well taken score from play but it was Sarsfields who finished the game the strongest with two McGrath frees and a point from Kelly to leave it Sarsfields 1-14 Oranmore Maree 0-10.
