Galway v Limerick
Despite leading 1-13 to 1-12 at Half Time, Galway could not stop a dominant Limerick in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Semi-Final and in the end, it was the defending Champions who marched on the final on a Full Time score of 2-24 to 1-18.

There is currently a Win-a-Home fundraiser taking place in Galway GAA. The tickets are €100 and the top Prize is a home in Galway. It is now being well advertised in several retail outlets and social media.

Note, if our club supports this fundraiser (by selling 30 tickets) there are substantial benefits to the club:
1. Our annual infrastructure levy disappears - this is worth approx €5000 to us over the next 6 years
2. We are entered into a draw among the clubs with top prize of €3000.
We already have commitments to buy 15 of these tickets so we’re now looking to see if we can get commitments for 15 more - either by individuals buying a ticket or committing to putting a group of 4 or 5 friends to come together to buy a ticket (or something like that).
