Hard luck to the hurlers who lost to Kilmacud at Silver Park over the weekend. The U10 camogie team had a great blitz in Bohernabreena on Saturday, with matches against St. Annes and Naomh Olaf. In only a few weeks one can see a big improvement already and lots more work to do, great support from the parents. To members and friends of Good Counsel; the Club is running a Strictly Come Dancing fundraiser on Friday 9th October 2015 in an effort to address our current financial situation. This Easter Sunday why not come down to the Club bar, there will be a DJ from 7 until close. A reminder that registration is overdue, you can print off a copy of the registration form from the website. You will not be able to train, play, coach or claim any medical/physio bills if you fail to pay your fees. The Club lotto was not won this week. The numbers were 8-16-24. Next week’s jackpot will be €4800. Bingo continues every Wednesday at 8.30pm in the club. Texas Hold’em continues on Friday nights in the bar at 9pm. Button accordion and concertina lessons are available every Monday night at 8pm in the clubhouse. There are Set-Dancing classes every Monday in the hall at 7.30pm. Beginners welcome. Fencing continues on Tuesdays in the club.
