Well done to the AFL4 team who beat St Brigids at the weekend 0-13 to 1-05 and also to the second football team who defeated Thomas Davis. Well done to all the juveniles who were playing over the weekend also. The championship draws were made last Monday night in Parnell Park. In football Good Counsel has drawn Na Fianna in round 1 and the junior footballers will play the winners of Na Fianna and St Marks. In the hurling, Good Counsel has been drawn in the same group as Faughs, Crumlin, St Brendans and Raheny. Dates and venues are yet to be announced. Registration is now overdue; you can download the registration form from the club website. There will be music in the club bar for St Patrick’s Day from 6pm, it promises to be a good night! The Club Lotto was not won this week. The numbers were 15-24-27. Next week’s jackpot is €4500. Bingo continues every Wednesday at 8.30pm in the club. Texas Hold’em continues on Friday nights in the bar at 9pm. Button accordion and concertina lessons are available every Monday night at 8pm in the clubhouse. There are Set-Dancing classes every Monday in the hall at 7.30pm. Beginners welcome. Fencing continues on Tuesdays in the club.
