Congratulations to all the teams who contributed to a very successful weekend on the pitch. The under 15 boys qualified for the hurling shield final and they have reached the semi-final of their football championship. The under 12 camogie had a decisive win over Erins Isle in the league, while the under 9 and 10 camogie and the under 10 boys had success in their respective blitzes. A special mention for the under 13 camogie who had a great match against Ballyboden in the championship.
The club AGM takes place on Thursday 23rd October at 8pm in the clubhouse. All motions and nominations must be with the club secretary by 2nd October.
The 60th anniversary dinner dance takes place on Saturday 18th of October at the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel. Tickets are available from the committee.
The annual mass for deceased members will take place on Saturday 22nd November in the clubhouse. Further details later

Tickets will be available soon from the organising committee. They are looking to have all the trophies sponsored on the night, so if you think you could arrange some sponsorship please contact Liz Baker as soon as possible.
On Sunday 5th of October we have a set-dancing Ceili in the club from 2.30pm. The Glenside Ceili Band will provide the music. Tickets are available from the club.
Anybody interested in taking up fencing as a hobby can have a go on Tuesday evenings in the club. Details are available in the club.
The club LOTTO was not won this week. The numbers were 3-9-20. Next weeks jackpot will be €2300. Bingo continues every wednesday night in the club at 8.30pm. We have Texas Hold'em in the bar on Friday nights at 9pm.
Button accordion and concertina lessons are available every monday night at 8pm in the clubhouse. There are Set-Dancing classes every monday in the hall at 7.30pm. Beginners welcome.
