Well done to all the boys and girls who received awards and medals at the Juvenile Presentation Night last Saturday. It was a great celebration of our young people in the club and everybody had a great time. Many thanks to all the volunteers who came down on the Friday night to set up the hall. Congratulation to Éirin Kennedy on her selection to the Dublin U16 Camogie Panel, it’s a great achievement so the very best of luck to her. Last week we had “Battle of the Schools” – congratulations to Gaelscoil Inse Chór who beat Our Lady of Good Counsel BNS and GNS to win both finals. Well done to all the boys and girls who took part, all the teachers who helped and to Paddy Baker and his team of coaches for all their efforts in making this a great success. Our Annual Adult Awards and Mentors Appreciation night will take place on Saturday 9th December from 9pm. All Adult Players, Minor Players and all Mentors are asked to attend. All members also welcome. On Sunday the 10th December we welcome Santa to the Club for the Kids Xmas Party. Tickets are €5 and must be purchased in advance from Ollie Byrne behind the bar. Joining Santa will be a children’s entertainer and a DJ so all the kids will have lots of fun. The bar will be open for the parents to relax while the kids are enjoying themselves. Our Annual OAP Christmas Party will take place on the 12th December. If anybody is in a position to offer some prizes for their raffle, we would really appreciate it. All prize donations can be left behind the bar with Ollie Byrne. Club lotto: No winner last week.
