PLAYING SEASON 2018 – ADULT TEAMS: The Executive Committee invites applications from all who are interested in managing our adult teams for the 2018 season. Management teams will be required for the following teams: Senior 1 Camogie; Senior 4 Camogie; Intermediate Football; Junior Football; Adult Hurling; Minor Football & Hurling. Applications must be submitted in writing to Gretta Byrne, Rúnaí or by e-mail to secretary.goodcounsel.dublin@gaa.ie by Monday 23rd October 2017. Existing Managers must also apply if they are still interested in taking their teams in 2018. We had some great juvenile championship wins over the last week with under 13, under 14 and under 16 camogie teams all winning their championship games. Watch out for the fixtures posted on Facebook for this weekend championship semi-final fixtures. Our Minor Hurlers also had a great win in championship away to Wild Geese at the weekend. ROAD LEAGUES: Our first recruitment event of the new school year is taking place this week. The road leagues will take place TUESDAY 5.30pm-7pm for 1st/ 2nd/ 3rd classes; THURSDAY 5.30pm-7pm for 4th/ 5th/6th classes; FRIDAY 5.30pm-7pm Semi Finals & Finals will take place. We are looking for mentors and players to get involved in making this a success. If you can help out in any way please contact Paddy Baker or Gavin Maher. Please ensure all your players in these age group take part in the Road League event. 3 weeks and counting to our Lip Sync Battles Counsel Style – have you got your ticket yet? Tickets are €20 each and are available from any of the acts or member of the event committee.
