Our Hurling & Camogie Summer Camp was a great success last week with over 130 boys & girls attending. We were joined by Dublin Hurler Eoghan O’Donnell and Dublin Camogie player Arlene Cusheen who were great with the kids. Our Football camp starts this week and on Friday we have Jack McCaffrey visiting us. Our Advanced Camp will start next week for boys & girls over 13 years old, it’s not too late to register – please contact Paddy Baker on 085 1403794 for further information. Well done to one of our Lip Sync Groups for organising a very successful Kids Movie Time Afternoon last Friday – it was a big hit with the kids. There will be another one planned for Friday 18th August, further details to follow. Congratulations to our Minor Hurling team on winning their league recently – great team performances both from the players and the management team. Our u10s, u12 and u13 boys took a trip to Croke Park to witness Dublin winning their 7th Leinster Title in a row. Nearly 90 people made the trip – well done to the mentors and the parents for organising this – the kids had a great time. Please note the date change for our Car Boot Sale – this will now take place on Saturday 19th August 9am-3pm. Cars/Small Vans €15. No food/Drink sellers allowed. If anybody is interested in being part of a group in our Lip Sync fundraiser which takes place on Saturday 21st October 2017, please get in touch. Training will start around the end of August for all the Lip Sync Acts who are participating.
