We are seeking volunteers from Club Members, Players, Parents, Supporters or any able bodied persons to help at the “GOOD FRIDAY CLEAN UP” of the club grounds from 11am. The more people who volunteer then the quicker it will get completed so we would encourage you to get involved. Hard luck to our u14 Counsel Gaels boys who participated in Féile Peil na nÓg on Saturday in Bohernabreena but unfortunately they didn’t make it out of their group. Their focus now will be on the Hurling Féile at the end of April. Congrats to our u8 Hurling Team who participated in “Stay and Play” in Croke Park on Monday 10th April and to their managers for making it such a fabulous day for them. Our 12 Camogie Team will be in Croke Park on Easter Monday 17th April for “Camán to Croker”. They will be playing against teams from Tipperary, Armagh and Waterford. Their matches will be played between 11:45am and 1:15pm so if you are free why not drop into Croke Park to see them – this is a free event to watch for adults and children. Advanced Hurling, Football and Camogie camp Ages 14-18 takes place on Tues 18th & Wed 19th April 12pm to 3pm. Cost is €10. Contact Paddy Baker 0851403794 for further information and to reserve place. Easter Egg Raffle tickets are now on sale, €2 for one ticket or a book of 6 for €10 – this raffle is in aid of our Feile Teams. There will be Celebrations in the club house on Easter Sunday 16th April 4pm-7pm. For the kids there will be an Easter Egg Hunt, Table Quiz, Face Painting and lots more – admission on €4. For the adults, there will be ballads in the Bar with John Dixon. Set dancing continues every Monday at 7.30pm and Bingo is on Wednesday from 8.30pm. Don’t forget to do the club lotto, you can buy a ticket in the club bar or do it online – you will find the link on our club website www.goodcounsel.ie. We would like to remind all team managers that match results and reports need to be sent to Deirdre Conway, Club PRO by text or by email to pro.goodcounsel.dublin@gaa.ie after the game so that we can keep all everybody informed through our club Facebook page and Website.
