We would like to thank Rachel Hersee for securing sponsorship from her employer Henkel to support our club. Rachel acquired the money as she wanted to help fundraising for her daughter's teams and to support the club. This is the second time that Henkel has given money towards Good Counsel teams. Our Under 8 and Under 9 camogie teams have now been kitted out with a new set of jerseys each in the new club design, 2 dozen sliotairs and 1 dozen hurls. Six helmets were also purchased for our club communal gear supply. The 2017 Under 14 and Under 16 Camogie Teams also got 2 dozen sliotairs each as Rachel two daughters continue to play on those teams. Check out the full article on the club website. Another busy weekend of matches for the club, with some terrific results across camogie and football - check out our Facebook page for match reports and results. All outstanding Club Registration/Membership fees are now due. For your convenience, there are various methods of payment all of which are outlined on our club website www.goodcounsel.ie. Set dancing continues every Monday at 7.30pm and Bingo is on Wednesday from 8.30pm. “Lip Sync Battles Counsel Style” will be our main fundraiser for this year and it will take place on October 21st 2017. There will be a meeting at 7pm this Friday in the clubhouse for those interested in participating in a group. We have quite a few people already committed to doing it and it’s guaranteed to be great fun, so please come along to find out more information.
