Last weekend the minor footballers were unlucky agains Thomas Ashe and our U14 camogie Féile team were also unlucky after they were defeated in the final in O''Toole park. This Saturday, the club is hosting Féile Peil na nÓg and it kicks off from 10.30am. If anyone would like to donate non-perishable food or sandwiches for the day, please bring them in the morning on the day or the night beforehand. Also on Saturday, the intermediate footballers are in championship action. They play St Marks at 6pm at Kiltipper Road. The minor hurlers play Lucan at 11 on Sunday in the club. In camogie this week, this evening the senior camogie side play Erins Isle at 7.30in the club. The juniors play Kilmacud on Thursday also in the club at 7.30pm. The club would like to sympathise with our Secretary Gretta Byrne and her family following passing of her mother Nan Donaghue. The funeral mass takes place today at 12 in the The Holy Family Church, Ballyoisin, Co. Monaghan, may she rest in peace. Lá na gClubanna takes place on May 8 in the club, it is a day to celebrate the club, there will be a cake sale and several rounds games. More will be announced over the coming week. Bingo continues on Wednesdays in the Club at 8.30pm. Texas Hold'em is on Fridays at 9pm. Set-dancing is on Mondays from 8pm.  |
