Last week the adult hurlers lost to Ballinteer while the U16 camogie side booked their place in the championship final after they beat Faughs. Next week, on October 17, the first team footballers play Round Towers at 5.00pm at Galtymore. The second team footballers play St Francis Gaels Cabinteely on October 18, at 3.00pm at Galtymore. On October 18, both the adult camogie teams are also in action at Galtymore, the seniors play Thomas Davis in the shield semi-final and the juniors play Naomh Olaf; throw-in times are yet to be confirmed. Last weekend, the Club’s main fundraiser Strictly-Counsel Style was held in the Club and it was a great night for Good Counsel. The Club would like to thank all those who volunteered at the event, the dancers, the organising committee, those who sponsored the dancers and the event, Performance and to all the members who made the event happen! A reminder to all members: the AGM is on October 22 in the Club. The Club Lotto was not won last week. The numbers were 7-11-12 and next week’s jackpot is €1,900. Bingo continues on Wednesdays in the Club at 8.30pm. Texas Hold'em is on Fridays at 9pm. Set-dancing is on Mondays from 8pm.  |
