The first team footballers had a great win over Craobh Chiarain in league football at the weekend, the senior 2 camogie side lost to Ballinteer and the senior 5 side also lost, to Kilmacud. This week the senior 2 camogie side play Ballyboden in Ballyboden on Tuesday, throw-in is at 7pm. On Thursday in the Club the senior 5 side also play Ballyboden, throw-in is at 7pm also. Thanks to all attended the Kids Movie Magic Night last Thursday and to those who attended the Car Boot sale at the weekend. Congratulations to Giya Batacan on captaining the U15 Dublin team who defeated Kilkenny in the All-Ireland National Shield Final. Sophie Malone and Amy Ward also represented the Club playing on the Cup team. The Launch night for Strictly- Counsel Style is on Friday September 4 at 8.30pm in the Club Bar. Dancers will be paired and their dance selected on the night. As most of the tickets are being sold by the dancers there are a limited amount left which will go on sale at the launch for €20.00. There will be finger food and entertainment on the night and all club members are invited to come along and join in the fun. There will be special drinks promotions on the night also. The Club Lotto was not won last week, the numbers were 10-16-24. Next week’s jackpot is €1,200. Bingo continues on Wednesdays in the Club at 8.30pm. Texas Hold'em is on Fridays at 9pm. Set-dancing is on Mondays from 8pm.The inaugural Intermediate Football Challenge match for the Tom Mulligan Memorial Cup will be played next Saturday 29th August at 6.30pm in Galtymore Park.The match will be between Good Counsel and Belmullet GAA clubs. All are welcome. Refreshments and music in clubhouse bar afterwards.
