The hurlers were beaten in championship by Raheny at the weekend. On Wednesday 17th the first team footballers play Lucan at 12th Lock at 7.30pm, on Thursday 18th the second team footballers play St Anne’s in the Club at 7.30pm and on Saturday the first team play Parnells in the Club at 6.30pm; please support. There was a super day in the Club last Saturday at the u8-u10 mixed blitz. Several new players attended and if their enjoyment was anything to go by we’ll be seeing them at training sessions in the coming weeks. Thanks to Paddy Baker for organising it and to all who helped on the day. Thanks to the parents who stayed to support and encourage. The Club lawnmower has been taken from the Club in the past two weeks. We sincerely ask if anyone has borrowed it or if you saw anyone taking it from the premises to let the Club know. The Good Counsel summer camps will be taking place for boys and girls under 13 on the following dates: Hurling and Camogie camp takes place on Monday 13 to Friday 17 July. Football camp will take place from Monday 20 to Friday 17 July. Both camps run from 10am to 2pm each day. The camps will be supervised by qualified coaches and there will be Dublin stars as guest coaches. The Club Lotto was not won this week. The numbers were 7-13-25 and there was no winner. Next week’s jackpot is €5,900. Bingo continues on Wednesdays in the Club at 8.30pm. Texas Hold'em is on Fridays at 9pm. Button accordion and concertina lessons are on Mondays at 8 and set-dancing is on Mondays from 7.30pm.
