JUNIOR A COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

Moycullen Juniors lost out to Caherlistrane last Saturday in the Junior A County Final by the narrowest of margins 1.11 to 1.12. Well done to this Junior Team who have played very well all year and good luck in the League Final in a few weeks.

Our U15's were also defeated by Salthill in their final game of the season on Saturday. Again well done to the lads for all their effort throughout the year.

Hurling News

Sad news this week of the passing of another member of the 1964 Intermediate Championship winning team. Joe Richarson, originally from Tooreeny, playing mostly wing back during the late 50' and 60's, before moving to Limerick, where he passed aaway on Sunday.

With the end of the campaign at Intermediate level, competitive activity has ended but the Morgan Darcy Cup is scheduled for November 7th at 11am when two u16 selections will compete for the ultimate prize.
