Family Day & Tag Competition in honour of “Beachy”
Congratulations to James and all involved on the day – it was a huge success and everyone had a great day
Pre-Season Training
Training continues every Tuesday & Thursday at 7:30pm in the Lodge
Mini’s/Youth Training
Some Coaches have started but plans in place for some pre-season sessions and these will be communicated in the coming days/weeks.
Junior 1 Squad Have New Lead Coach & Captain
The J1's have appointed two long and loyal serving members to manage and coach the squad this season.
Robert 'Shutsy' Shuttleworth takes the managerial reins following his outstanding success in winning several leagues and cups with the clubs 3rds team over the years.
He now moves up to the more onerous task of Lead Coach with the Junior 1 team for the season and his astute rugby brain aligned to his management and coaching skills will benefit the club in ensuring this side will have a steady hand on the tiller.
Another player who has given outstanding service in an effective manner to the clubs senior team over the years is James McKevitt. He has decided that he will step down a grade this year and has offered to Captain the clubs J1 team which was very gratefully accepted.
His vast experience will also benefit the team and in particular the young players who are coming through from the clubs excellent youth structure. We wish Robert and James the best of luck and thank them for their continued dedication to the clubs playing activities
