*Message from Head Coach Vic Ball*
In my time as Head Coach of Boyne RFC, I have been fortunate enough to witness and be part of some memorable days. Last season, the amazing support we had for crucial home games at The Lodge, in particular v Wicklow and Tullow, were truly magical days and that support was crucial in carrying us to the League title.
I cannot stress enough how much that support lifted the players. The support we get never goes unnoticed and is always appreciated, but those two days specifically are special days that the playing group will never forget.
Now we need to recreate that. I'd like to make a call to arms to our members. On Saturday we face a very good Ashbourne team at The Lodge. We need your support.
Whether an active playing or non-playing member, a Mini/Youth player or parent...it would really mean a lot to the squad to have a big crowd, loud and proud this Saturday afternoon. This support really is like a 16th player out on the pitch.
Please get down and cheer on captain Graeme McQuillan and the squad for what will hopefully be another joyous day at The Lodge. Your support will go a long way to achieving that!
Kick-off is at 3pm with the J2 match at 1:30pm and we look forward to having you all behind us. See you then.
