Boyne RFC Dinner Dance Celebrating 25 years

Boyne are celebrating their 25th anniversary on the 20th of August. To mark the occasion, they are holding a smart casual Dinner Dance in the D Hotel on the 20th of August. 7.30pm till late. There will be a special guest on the night also. Tickets cost €50 per person and can be got from Judith in the office or from any committee member. Tickets are limited to 150 so get yours now before they are gone.

Boyne RFC are seeking a Club Community Rugby Officer

Boyne RFC are seeking applications for the position of Club Community Rugby Officer (CCRO). The post is a part-time position of 30 hours per week for 30 weeks commencing 1 September 2022. Under the guidance of an officer of Leinster rugby, the CCRO will report to the Director of Rugby at Boyne RFC and the area Community Rugby Officer (CRO). Full Job Spec on our Facebook page.

Boyne RFC are looking for a *PRO/Social Media VOLUNTEER
We are looking for a volunteer to help keep Boyne active on all our social media Platforms (FB, Twitter & Instagram). The individual will be familiar will all social media platforms and use them regularly, either in a personal or professional capacity. This is a flexible role which will allow the volunteer to work at a time that suits the volunteer.
**Tasks include*
•Liaising with the committee and volunteers to identify important messages to be communicated through social media •Creating content and graphics (through free sites like Canva)
•Responding to comments and messages on our social media platforms
*Skills and Experience Required*
•Strong IT and social media skills
•Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications
•Understanding of the Community and Voluntary sector
•The ability to work flexible hours

Club Captain Collie Joyce Ahearne

Club Captain Collie Joyce Ahearne and 1st team player Robbie Vallejo are travelling to India this summer for 4 weeks to teach underprivileged children from slums in Kolkata with SMILE Society.

As well as teaching English, the programme will involve educating the kids around hygiene, organisation, and distributing food.

They would greatly appreciate any donations to help them achieve this goal.
