AGM 2022

Dear Member,

The Annual General meeting of the club will take place in Shamrock Lodge on 9^th June 2022 at 8:00p.m.  Ordinary full members of the club (including life members) who have paid their membership subscriptions prior to 1^st June 2022 are entitled to attend and vote at the AGM.

You will receive an email containing the agenda for the meeting and a nomination paper for candidates who wish to serve as officers of the club or ordinary members of committee during 2022-23. As per the past two years we will continue with a paperless process and completed, ‘virtually’ signed, nomination papers should be returned to me via email to hon.sec@boynerfc.ie on or before Monday 6^th June 2022. 

Similarly, it would facilitate the efficient running of the meeting if, by Monday 6^th June, you could provide notice of any motion you intend to propose.  This will enable us to circulate details of motions to all in attendance. You will also find attached a copy of a proposed Motion related to the consecutive term length of Executive Committee Members. Any update to motions from prior years will be provided at the AGM.

This meeting will be held in line with the past two years as follows:

• The use of any physical paper documents will be minimised and information shared via electronic means on the evening
• The full Statement of Accounts will be presented via visual display on the evening.

I have attached a copy of the Balance sheet for your perusal prior to the meeting.

Autumn Internationals 2022

The IRFU via the Leinster Branch are offering tickets. Our allocation may not be sufficient to meet the needs of all our Members and Sponsors so there could be disappointments.

The committee has decided to offer tickets for the Autumn Internationals on the following terms and conditions:

1. Applications will only be considered from Full Members who have paid their membership subscription for the current season.
2. The latest date for receipt of applications is Friday 24^th June 2022. At this stage we need to order the tickets, so it is just the quantity of tickets we need.
3. In some cases, we may receive Packages but if you are not taking the full combination of the package, we will be charging the Non- Package Price.
4. Payment for Tickets must be Paid before Friday 16^th September 2022. All monies received for Tickets will be lodged into the Club Account. Unsuccessful applicants will get a refund after all tickets have been allocated and distributed.
5. Tickets will be allocated by the committee on a merit basis, with priority given to Sponsors, Members who contribute their time to the Club and Members who regularly attend Club Matches.  Payment for Tickets as required will not guarantee a successful application.
6. The committee’s decision on allocation of tickets is final.
