Charity Fundraising in Boyne Rugby Club: Despite the lack of playing opportunities due to Covid restrictions, it didn't stop huge charity fundraising efforts in recent weeks in Boyne Rugby Club, with club teams raising almost €11,000 for various charities and causes during November. Boyne's Senior Squad raised €8,753 for Mens Health including cancer, mental health and suicide prevention causes in their Movember campaign. Some amazing moustaches on show here ... along with a few dodgy ones. Boyne u'12s Coaches raised a further €1,775 for the Irish Cancer Society in their own Movember Campaign. Another set of incredible moustaches here. Thankfully most have been removed! Our Club Administrator and PRO Judith Chalmers completed the 500,000 step challenge and was presented with a charity donation of €325 collected during November by the Boyne u'16 team squad and coaches. It demonstrates the exceptional effort and spirit within Boyne Rugby at this difficult time. The club is immensely proud of these achievements and thanks everyone for their super efforts.
