Rowing news:
It’s a busy time for our international rowers. First of all a huge congratulations to David Foley who has been selected in the mens junior quadruple sculls for the Coupe de la Jeunesse in Linz, Austria, this August. Also congratulations to St Michael’s Ryan Spellman who won silver medal for Ireland in the mens coxed four at the Under 23 World Championships in Racice, Czech Republic last weekend. Finally, a huge shout out to all our crews competing at the Olympic regatta in Tokyo which starts this weekend. This is Irelands largest ever rowing team with 5 crews competing.
Meanwhile on the domestic front St Michael’s are sending a big squad to Lough Rynn regatta this weekend and the Limerick Junior Festival of Rowing in O’Brien’s Bridge on July 31st.
