Members and Parents/Guardians,
You are invited to attend the 2020 St. Michael's Sporting Club AGM on the above date. Election of the President, Vice president and Committee, will take place on the night. All members are entitled to attend but only Full 2020/21 members shall be entitled to vote.
Nominations for President, Vice President and Committee must be submitted to the Honorary Secretary in writing by the 9th October. In the absence of nominations, the Chairperson may elect to take nominations from the floor. Proposed rule changes and motions must be submitted in writing to the Club Secretary by the 2nd October. Any resolution to be moved at the AGM must be forwarded to the Honorary Secretary by the 9th October.

Fundraising for 2020/21:
As you will be aware, our usual fundraising events are all cancelled this year. We urgently need to replace the income from those missing events to be able to continue to function as a club which does it's best for all it's members.
We urgently need more lotto players to help prop up our fundraising. Please have an encouraging word with other members, housemates, friends, supporters. It's just €2/week to play, and if we get enough new players we'll be able to continue to offer the same excellent value and facilities to our club members.
The jackpot is currently €1,500 and there is a Luck Dip drawn every month.

Lotto News:
We have made some big changes to the lotto to make it more attractive;
- The monthly Lucky Dip is back! A €50 value for 1 lucky player will be given back on the 1st draw of every month, beginning Aug 3rd .
- The Jackpot has been raised to an unprecenented value of €1,500.
We have made huge strides in raising funds over the past few years & the money has been invested in boat & oar purchases, notably the 2nd octuplet for our younger crews, while also investing in facilities in O’Briensbridge with boat storage, lighting & facilities to aid winter training for our crews. We are currently working on the boathouse and associated facilities.
Please encourage new players to join up, we need everyone's help this season.
