To everyone who supported our table quiz last night, and also those who organised the event, the prizes, the sponsors, and Limerick Lawn Tennis Club. This is all so much appreciated and will be a great help in funding rowing activities and trips to regattas, maintenance of equipment and more. We're looking forward to the next one already.
SMRC Head of the River:
March 21st is the date and Limerick City is the venue.
Please come along and volunteer if you're not competing.
We need all kinds of help on and off the water and your effort will make it the success it deserves to be.
As well as great racing we will have some food and other offerings at the club. Best vantage points are quayside at House, O'Callaghan Strand (finish line, conditions permitting) and Shannon Bridge.
Please contact the Captain directly on smrccaptain@gmail.com if you can help. It's a short day compared to most regattas, so we won't take too much of your time, and there is a great social element to this event too.

Learn to Row Camps:
We have had a great response to our 1st camp and as a result we're have decided to roll out more camps.
Then why not try our 8 week Learn to Row programme at St. Michael’s Rowing Club, beginning February 3rd.
Open to boys and girls aged 12 and upwards, the 8 week programme costs €100.
Land based training takes place mid week with on the water sessions on weekends.
The 8 week trial is an ideal way for kids to experience regular training sessions - circuits, running, yoga, conditioning & ergometer sessions.
