On the water:
The National Championships are here and we wish all our athletes and coaches the very best of luck. It's been another challenging year because of weather disruption, but our crews have been working just as hard preparing for the end game.

On the international stage, double Irish representation celebration with Chris Kirwan racing JW2x & Coach Orla McEvoy selected to coach the women’s sweep squad for Ireland’s Coupe de la Jeunesse in Italy. It’s Chris’s 2nd Irish jersey & Orla returns to Coupe having raced in ‘08 & ‘09, What an achievement for them both. We're very proud.
The buildup to the highlight of the rowing calendar is well under way. No not the Champs, it’s St. Michael’s Masters Regatta!! We hope the Masters crews will all be attending our 3rd annual masters regatta. Regatta details are at https://www.rowingireland.ie/regattas/467/events/
Learn to Row:
St. Michael’s Rowing Club will be running 4 ‘Intro to Rowing’ Summer Camps for kids aged 11+ on the following dates & times;
* Mon 29/07 - Thurs 01/08
* Mon 05/08 - Thurs 08/08
* Mon 12/08 - Thurs 15/08
* Mon 19/08 - Thurs 22/08
Camps cost €100 per attendee and each weekly camp is rounded off with a BBQ for the kids & coaches. The sessions each day last approx 4 hours with a little bit extra on day 4 for the BBQ.

Coaching:
An information night for any coaches interested in coaching for the 2020 season will take place this Wednesday at 8pm in the club. Its open for any parents interested in joining the coaching group also. We know, we know, the 2019 season isn’t over yet but we’re planning already...
Coaching course:
Parents/Rowers/Ex Rowers - We may have an Introduction to Coaching course coming up in Limerick if we have sufficient numbers.
If anyone is interested in attending this course (which is run by Rowing Ireland) then please drop the captain and email. Date/time - tbc once we have the numbers.
