There’s no need to reserve a spot for the open days, ust drop in to one of our open day sessions during the times & dates below.

Bring training gear to give the ergs (rowing machines) a go or, weather permitting, have a quick spin on the water in our training boats. Adults must accompany anyone who’s under 18.

The open days and summer camps are aimed at boys and girls from 6th class to 6th year and for adults of all ages interested in adult Learn to Row camps, recreational or novice rowing.

Open Day Dates & Times:

All open days are at our rowing club on O’Callaghan Strand in Limerick.

We hope to see you there.

Thomond Swim:
St. Michael's is excited to once again work with Limerick Masters Swimming Club as the 2019 Thomond Swim will be taking place this Saturday from the club.

We're really looking forward to seeing the riverbank lined with supporters to cheer on the hardcore swimmers.

The swim starts from the slipway at the club at 18:15 and proceeds up the river Shannon turning just below Thomond Bridge. Competitors then swim down river past King John’s Castle, the Civic offices, Shannon Rowing Club before finishing back at SMRC.

Another great example of how our club being a vital cog within Limerick City Sports and the community.

Coaching course:
Parents/Rowers/Ex Rowers - We may have an Introduction to Coaching course coming up in Limerick if we have sufficient numbers.

If anyone is interested in attending this course (which is run by Rowing Ireland) then please drop the captain and email. Date/time - tbc once we have the numbers.
