Captain's Message:
Our 2018 season drew to a close with a series of very solid performances at the championships which gives us lots to build on for the future, the highlight of course being our new Men’s Junior 1x Champion of Ireland, Ryan Spelman. His dedication and commitment to training was outstanding and the proof was in the win.
Well done to all crews & coaches on a very successful and progressive year. Lots of wins and top placements in what was a difficult racing season with so many events cancelled.
The athletes, coaches & captain are taking a little ‘sos beag’ to take a well deserved break. The club is closed for crew training but there’s a bunch of die hards training away but we’d remind the junior crews to enjoy the break!
Thanks to all our volunteers for their tireless commitment and energy to running our amazing club. Thank you to our supporters who did a great job especially with fundraising. Roll on 2019.
Don’t worry - we’ll keep you updated on the Home Internationals & Coupe de la Jeunesse but other than that we’re out of the office until August.
Is mise le meas,
Captain Richie

Social & Fundraising:While support for this lottery has been good and steady, we really need to ramp up our efforts in the coming months as it's a vital part of fundraising, with ever increasing costs to keep us afloat, literally and otherwise. In September we'll be knocking on doors and also offering more to those who play. Please encourage your friends to join too. A small entry cost could be rewarded with a nice cash prize. And to our current and past players, thank you for playing and helping us. We very much appreciate it.
