Rowing News:
HP Trial Update - Well done to Megan & Cara who improved on their 8th place by making it into the A Final & the top 6 junior 2-s, fantastic result for them. Not to be outdone by the girls Ryan moved from 14th to 9th in the 1x. Unfortunately, Dylan picked up an injury & we wish him a speedy recovery.
Our next competitive outing is to Skibbereen. We're looking forward to it.
This Friday the club will be running interactive workshops on Nutrition and Wellness covering Rowing Nutrition, Regatta Day Nutrition, Hydration and Heat
Sleep Hygiene and Recovery.
The sessions are being run by Jess O’Keefe. We will have one for the Junior 14 to 16 group and one for the Junior 17 to Senior and beyond...
The sessions are open to all. Bring a notepad and pen and a willingness to learn 👍
Times will be confirmed and details will be on the noticeboard. Any questions then email the captain. He loves getting your questions!
Speaking of our heroic leader, congratulatinons to Cap'n Richie for rowing in a scull on Sunday for the first time in 12 years. The wash from the weight of the boat has just about abated and Greenpeace have been stood down.
