Club News:
BBQ
Our season kick off BBQ is taking place next Saturday, September 16th at 4pm in the club.  
 
We need those attending to reserve places so that we can confirm numbers by Wednesday evening this week with the caterers so please let me know if you/your family are coming. There would be nothing worse than having to share a burger! Tickets are €10 per person and we have a special offer of €5 for younger kids (not the rowers though, they eat more than €5 worth!) This is a social event, not a fund raiser, and it’s a chance to get to know the club a bit better. And while we may have our origins as a Temperance Society we are allowing the event to be BYOB or BYOC (cans).

Membership & Rackage
Just a reminder that the 2017/2018 Membership and Rackage is due to be paid this month. Full details on the rates and methods of payment can be found on the club website - www.smrc.ie/membership.php

AGM - Friday, October 13th at 8pm.

St Michael’s Urban Run is Sunday October 9th. We’ll be putting call out for volunteers in the next 2 weeks. (road marshalling/race registrations/giving out race numbers/tea & coffee makers and most important – bakers!) And you and yours are more than welcome to compete in the 5km and 10km races too of course.
