Parent's info night:
There will be a meeting for all club member parents on Tuesday 5th at 7pm. We strongly encourage all parents to come along and participate in this important event as we find it is very beneficial to them, the coaches and ultimately to the rowers. Thank you.

Rowing News:
The St. Michael's inaugural Masters Regatta was a great success thanks to an entry of over 40 crews, including from the UK. Well done Richie, all his committee and gang who worked very hard to get this off the ground and see it through to fruition. It's a long time since there was racing on the river in the city. We're determined that this will be an annual event. Onwards and upwards! and it's especially important to congratulate SMRC on winning The Monty Cup, a race and trophy in honour of our great friend and clubman Jim 'Monty' Ahern. Well rowed lads. There will be a formal presentation soon. World Masters Rowing, Bled:
The Bled rowing course is known as one of the most beautiful rowing courses in the world so it should be no real hardship to our Masters athletes who are making the trip. We wish them every success and look forward to seeing their progress on the Facebook and Twitter machines between Sept. 6th & 12th.
