New Pontoon - official launch:
What a day! Firstly we're so greatful to our Captain Antoinette Ahern and to Brian 'Richie' Richardson for the massive effort they put in, preparing the club for weeks beforehand, and the place really looked it's best in many years. They were also assisted by many other volunteers, and we thank them too.
We had representatives from those who made the finances available;
JP McManus Benevolent fund, Sports Capital Grant, and people who privately donated sums large and small. How can we thank you all enough! None of this could have happened without your very generous support. We appreciate it very much. Politicians, The Mayor's Office, Fr. Frank, your presence at St. Michael's was very welcome indeed. We must not forget our own members who shared their time and energy to conceive, plan and deliver this massive project. They should be very proud of this new landmark on the foreshore of the Shannon in Limerick. Thank you all.
An equally important event on the day:
Fr. Frank performed a special blessing and naming of our new four, the Jim "Monty" Ahern. His words to Jim's family, who are so close to us in St. Michael's, and to the crowd at large, were genuine, thoughtful, caring and respectful. Thank you so much. We're very proud to have this specially named a boat in our club to remind us of the great contribution Jim brought to us all.

Summer Camps:
Our camps will start on two dates in August.
Camp 1: Monday July 31sth @ 11:00 am - Thursday 3rd
Camp 2: Monday Aug 14th @ 08:30 am - Thursday 17th
Cost: €100 for first child and €80 thereafter.
