Rowing News:
The SMRC AGM is Thursday Oct. 27th - all eligible members are encouraged to attend to participate in the running of the club. The official notice is still on the Club noticeboard for more details.
SMRC/Waterways Ireland open day - Oct 23rd.
Yes, it's next Sunday and we'd like to invite you all to join in by bring some non-rowing friends down to the club from 9:30am to see what all the fuss about rowing in Ireand is about.
It's free, thanks to the generous support of Waterways Ireland, you must be at least 14yrs old to try it out, no upper age limit.
They'll get a bit of moderate exercise in a beautiful environment, as well as seeing the city from the totally new perspective of being on the river. Our experienced coaches and launch drivers will be there to ensure safety as well as offer information on the sport. You, or they, can click this Facebook link.

The SMRC lotto is a vital part of our fundraising plans, and in particular for our new slipway project as 100% of the lotto proceeds are ring fenced for this urgent construction.
