Urban Run 2016:
Registrations are coming in fast and furious and it's looking great for this year's event. Please help spread the word amongst your friends, colleagues at work, everyone... We cater for solo entrants and also teams, schools, etc.

Rowing News:
Well done to our Masters who represented SMRC at the World Rowing Masters Regatta. They took on all comers, the 8 faced off to a bunch of fiesty Russians (and got the short stick from a controversial umpires decision), and kept smiling all the way! The B4+ got a worthy 3rd place, which spurred on the rest, the C4+ coming in 4th, 10 secs ahead of the Irish composite 4. All in all, they pulled like dogs for us! Well rowed lads. Their focus is now on the LondonMasters Head in March followed by the World Masters Regatta in Bled, Slovenia next September.

The SMRC lotto is a vital part of our fundraising plans, and in particular for our new slipway project as 100% of the lotto proceeds are ring fenced for this urgent construction.
