Ailish Sheehan (1993-2016) RIP
The Sheehan family is profoundly grateful for the help that is being offered and given by so many. They have requested that should people wish to make donations that they be made to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust who are providing assistance to the family to repatriate Ailish home to Ireland with great sensitivity and efficiency. Urban Run 2016:
Online registration is LIVE! This is the biggest non-rowing event in our calendar and takes a massive effort. We hope you’ll get on board for the 10k run or 5k run/walk this year. It’s a real family day out for many people, and also a serious event for the high end athletes who compete on Munster’s flattest course. Many PB’s (personal best) are recorded which is a bonus.
We’ve secured Sherry Fitzgerald / Cushman Wakefield as our main sponsor to help with running costs and are also looking for smaller sponsor contributions to help offset the considerable expense of running such a large event. There will be a general call for volunteers also, who are vital to the success of the run.
We look forward to a great day.

The SMRC lotto is a vital part of our fundraising plans, and in particular for our new slipway project as 100% of the lotto proceeds are ring fenced for this urgent construction. Thanks to everyone who has joined for the first time since the relaunch in January and also to those of you who renewed recently. Every one of you is very welcome.
