No winner of last night's jackpot of €9,000. The numbers were 5,15,22 and 23. One person, Paddy Allen of Killeen, had three numbers and won €150. Next week's jackpot is €9,150.
Well done to Declan Smyth and his colleagues on the Meath Minor team who came back from the dead to secure a great victory over Mayo in last Sunday's All Ireland semi-final. Declan had a fine game. Hopefully Declan and the lads can go all the way in the final v Dublin or Kerry on 23rd September.
Dunsany Junior A men's team have their final game in the league section of the championship this Saturday in Athboy at 6.30 when they play St Brigids. A win will ensure they top the group - they are already through to the quarter-final. That quarter final will take place the following weekend.
The men's second team, the B League Div 4 team, play their final league game on Monday evening away to Carnaross at 6.45. Victory will earm them a place in the Div 4 Final.
Congratulations to the Dunsany Ladies for reaching their Junior Championship final last Sunday. However the cup was just not meant for them on the day, and after 3 finals in a row Moynalvey were the deserving winners. Many thanks to everyone who came to support, it was appreciated.
Canadian and American football games take place in Pairc Tailteann this Fridfay at 4pm and 7.30 pm respectively. Both games involve Canadian and US college teams. Great entertainment is assured and tickets covering both games cost €15. The games will raise badly needed funds for the development of Pairc Tailteann.
