Congratulations goes out to Pajo and Shauna Troy of Moneygall who tonight won the lotto jackpot of €6,000. The draw took place in Finns(Joe Loughnanes) and the numbers drawn were 03, 05, 16 and 26.
We look forward to presenting them both with their winnings next Thursday night in Stapletons Bar, Pallas Cross. Huge congratulations goes out to Brendan, Paddy, Conor and the whole Tipp team on last Sundays incredible performance. In what was truly one of the greatest games of all time everyone involved was a huge credit to their families, club and county and we wish them all the best again when they take on Kilkenny again in the replay. With that replay fixed for Saturday fortnight all club games involving County players have been postponed. That means our Senior County Championship match V Silvermines will now take place on the 4th or 5th of October. And as soon as we have the exact date and time we will let you know. Tonight was the fifth time this year our lotto has been won and reflecting on that we find ourselves in a very tough situation in regards finances. And taking everything into consideration the club has decided that for the foreseeable future we will be starting the lotto at €2,000 which is still a nice sum of money to win.
I hope everyone can see and understand our position on this issue and we to have the jackpot back up to the big money again very soon.
