Very little news on the hurling side this week. As the year draws to a close all we have left is our Junior C and under 21 teams. Still no date set for both teams next matches but we will let everyone know when we get any fixtures.
Of the field we are still as busy as ever, we have recently began work on our walking track which will be up and running we hope by the end of the month. This track will go around the entire length of our new field and will be fully floodlight and it will be open to the entire public which we hope will provide many people with the chance to walk and get fit over the winter in complete safety.
Also we recently launched our new fundraiser "Strictly Come Dancing", this event takes place in The Ragg on Sunday night the 27th of October, and tickets are available now at the price of €20. Details of this event can be found on our website www.borris-ileighgaa.com
Next weeks draw takes place in Stapletons Bar, Main St. and the jackpot is now worth €6,000
