Our under 21s were out in their first competitive match of the year last Saturday in the first round of the A North Championship. After a hard fought game against Burgess we came out of the wrong end of a 7 point defeat. This result didn't make to much difference as we are still in a North quarter final but the game gave us something to build on for that match when it comes.
Our Seniors are out this weekend in a County Semi final, bridging a gap that has lasted for way to long since our last appearance at this stage. We play Loughmore in the first match Sunday with a 3.30pm throw in Semple Stadium and we hope to see a huge turnout to cheer on the lads.
Tickets are on sale at the minute and prices are €15 for adults, €10 concession for students and OAP's upon proof of ID and all under 16s are free in.
Tickets can be purchased from Shanahans Centra, here in Borris and on the day but it is recommended to buy in advance to avoid any delays that might take place in Thurles.
Next weeks draw takes place in Stapletons Bar, Pallas Cross and the jackpot is worth €5,600
