Our Seniors had a great start to the North Chapmionship. We played Borrisokane last Saturday in our first match and ran out comfortable winners on a scoreline of 2-25 to 0-09. This was a great marker to set so early in the year and that was the first step on our long journey this year.
Our second step takes place this coming Saturday, the 13th, when we play Lorrha in our next Championship match with a 4.30pm throw in in Cloughjordan.
Our Junior Cs also have their first competitive match of the year this weekend, we are at home to Burgess in our first league match Sunday, the 14th, with a 2.30pm throw in.
Also the Camogie Club are holding a Fashion Show on Friday, the 19th April, in the Templemore Arms, tickets are €10 each and all support for the girls would be greatly appreciated.
Next weeks draw takes place in Coffeys Bar, Lower Main St and the jackpot is worth €9,400.
