Our seniors had to settle for a share of the spoils in the opening round of the county championship last Sunday against neighbours Toomevara. In a game that could of gone either way it finished 0-21 to 1-18. We now move on to the second round where we play Burgess on Saturday the 8th August at 7pm in Nenagh and we now know we most get a result from this game to give ourselves a chance of qualifying for the knockout stages. Our minors continued their impressive start to the north championship and remain unbeaten as they saw of the challenge of Newport yesterday in the final group match on a score of 5-16 to 2-11. This qualifies us for a North quarter final next Wednesday where we will take on Moneygall/Clonakenny. Our juniors start their campaign this Saturday evening when we take on Toomevara at 7.30pm in Templederry. This promises to be a right tussle as both teams will be looking for braging rights after the stalemate last week between the senior sides. This match will be live streamed on our Facebook page for anyone that wants to tune in. Next weeks jackpot is worth €9,000 Good luck to all
