4. Seamus Burke, c/o Mark Stapleton Another busy weekend on the hurling fields as both our juniors and seniors are out in action. Firstly our juniors are out tomorrow(Friday) night when we travel to Ballingarry to take on Knockshegowna in the third round of the league where a win would all but guarantee us a place in the knockout stages. Throw in is 8pm.
Then on Sunday our seniors take on reigning county champions Clonoulty in the first round of this years County Championship. This promises to be a fantastic match and the television cameras will be there as the game will be shown as the deferred match on TG4 at 4pm. Throw in is at 2pm in Holycross and a huge Borris support would be greatly appreciated. Next weeks draw takes place in Stapletons Bar, Main St. and the jackpot is worth €6,200
