The Jackpot moves up another €100 notch again this week as no winner. Congratulations to Rob Murphy who wins €25 in the Lucky Dip. Congratulations to all who organised the Leprechaun Hunt on St. Patrick's day. It was a marvellous success and run in a very safe way by all. Well done to all the businesses who took part such as Bray Credit Union, Bannons Jewellers, Michael O’Doherty’s, Keegans Home Bakery, HJ Byrne , Specsavers, The Larder, McDonalds, Dubray Books, Tanseys , Catalyst Coffee, Bray Sea life, Finnbees, The Martello, Strand Hotel and Ice cream. Great fun was had by all. Bray Family Resources and Development Centre announced the following recently: Marie Lacey has proposed Brenda Moloney as her nominee for International Women Day 13. This is what Marie said. I would like to nominate my work colleague and friend Brenda Maloney. Brenda is the kindest, funny, most generous and dependable woman I have ever known. She is dedicated in caring for the children in Jolly Tots creche and in her volunteer work with Bray Emmets. Brenda will always go above and beyond to help anyone. Whilst caring for her own growing family she has been selfless in assisting with shopping for the elderly during the pandemic. Brenda is truly an inspirational woman with many amazing qualities that I admire. And so say all of us. How does Brenda do so much. And to think that Bray Emmets is only one side of her life. Congratulations Brenda.
