We must all satisfy ourselves with the weather this weekend as no Jackpot winner yet. Congratulations to John Furlong who wins €25 in the Lucky Dip. Deepest sympathy with the family of Leo McEvoy, a member of the Bray Emmets team that won the Junior hurling County Final in 1963 who died recently. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam. What a great club we have with so many initiatives by our members. Latest up is Marc Lennon who captained our senior hurlers in winning the County Final last year, who is undertaking a marathon in support of Purple House. This involves a 42 km run followed by 250 hurling and 250 football shots on Sunday 7th June. The response has been marvellous with €1,300 raised so far and so well surpassing his goal of €1,000.
