How can I break the news? No Jackpot winner, unfortunately. However, congratulations to Helen Downey Moran who wins €25 in the Lucky Dip. Now for the big event of the weekend. Our Senior hurlers take on Scoil Uí Chonaill of Dublin in the Leinster Championship in Aughrim, tomorrow 2nd November at 1.30 pm. ( Did anyone notice I said December last week/..... that was a deliberate error!! If anybody noticed I will apologise to them tomorrow at the match in Aughrim). As supporters we must put on a good show tomorrow to help our heroes, so do make an effort to attend. We will congregate under the Stand to shelter from the forecasted inclement weather. There was wonderful support at the County Final so lets outdo that attendance! Congratulations to John Henderson who was selected on The Champions 15 team (All-Stars) for the Christy Ring, Nicky Rackard and Meagher Cup. Well done John and the best of luck tomorrow in Aughrim. Congratulations to our ladies Minor footballers who had a great win against Baltinglass in the Minor Couty Final. This is another sign of the growing strength of the Ladies side of the Club.
