Congrats to Pat Dwyer on been awarded RTE's Local Hero on Saturday last. This is awarded to an individual in a community that goes the extra mile! Pat definitely Does!

Fundraising: Tickets for the GAA National Club Draw need to be returned, today, whether Sold or not. Tickets can be left in the old Clubhouse or given to any committee member. All monies collected stay with the club.

With teams now back training and the New Clubhouse opening in mid February why not sign up now for membership! Membership and Player Injury fund fees may be paid online or to the club registrar David Watson. See full details at www.skerriesharps.ie Please note: The Mandatory Players Injury Scheme does not seek to compensate fully for injury but to supplement other Schemes such as Health Insurance.  Ultimately, the responsibility to ensure that adequate cover is in place lies with the individual member.   Also note: The Constitution specifies that members must have paid in full by 31st March each year to have a vote at AGM. Members paying after that date have NO vote. In addition, only members who pay by 31st March qualify to participate in the All-Ireland tickets draw.
