Congratulations to the McMeel's pharmacy sponsored U21 footballers on winning the U21 Championship last Sunday beating Templeogue Synge St by 2 points. Well Done Lads and all involved with the team. Great end to the year!
Well done to all involved in the Boys and Girls Youth Awards which took place last Sunday night. Great to see all the youth teams performing so well and going from strength to strength.
The New Clubhouse is taking shape at the end of the car park, with your help we could be open in Feb 2015, our donation drive is moving into full swing, by now all members should have received your donations pack, please support your club in this venture.
Mon 22nd Dec : Club Shop Open from 11am to 1pm for all your last minute Christmas Gifts. Gift Tokens also available.
Dates for Diary: On December the 26th our Annual Charity Football match kicks off at 11.30am Married V Singles for Mickey Scott Cup followed by Mixed Hurling / Camogie Match at 1pm. All proceeds go to our local St. Vincent De Paul.
S.H.A.G.S. Christmas Charity golf outing will take place in Skerries GC on Monday 29th December. Tee from 9.45am to 11.45am. Timesheet now available Contact Paul Murray 0851740474. Golf will be followed by Meal and Prize giving in Harps Clubhouse at 8pm. Last one in the Old house. All proceeds from this event will go to the local branch of St. Vincent de Paul. Please Support both Events.
Fundraising: Tickets for the GAA National Club Draw are now on Sale. Tickets are €10 and all the money collected stays in the club. Tickets available from Fergal 0868984657, Ger 0866032017 and Joanne 0864058523. Please support this fundraiser as all proceeds go to the costs of entering teams in next seasons leagues.
Membership and Player Injury fund fees are now due and may be paid online or to the club registrar David Watson. See full details at: http://www.skerriesharps.ie/club-membership Members note: The Mandatory Players Injury Scheme does not seek to compensate fully for injury but to supplement other Schemes such as Health Insurance. Ultimately, the responsibility to ensure that adequate cover is in place lies with the individual member.
Zingo result: 4-3-2-6-7-1-5. We had No Jackpot Winner this week so the Jackpot is Now €2,200. All proceeds go to the day to day running of the Harps. Nice Prize for Christmas!!
