The under 9 Camogie girls fielded an average 19 players over the course of the 6 weeks in Gormanstown. They playing 2 teams in the tournament every Sunday. See report at: http://www.skerriesharps.ie/news/under9girlsgormanstownindoorcamogiesummary

With the season now kicked off Membership and Player Injury fund fees need to be paid and may be paid online or to club registrar David Watson. Members note: The Mandatory Players Injury Scheme does not seek to compensate fully for injury but to supplement other Schemes such as Health Insurance.  Ultimately, the responsibility to ensure that adequate cover is in place lies with the individual member. Players must be paid up before playing this season.

Building started this week on the new clubhouse and members please note that car park will be closed after this weekend for the duration of the build and will be in place for about twelve months. See website for more details and alternate plans and updates.

Well done to Lyndsey Davey (0-3)  and the Dublin ladies footballers who drew with Monaghan in the National football league. Congrats also to Ross McGarry and Iain Furlong with Fingal's Hurlers, who beat Armagh in the NHL, to Eve Kehoe on Dublin' minor Camogie victory against Cork, to Donal McIlgorm with Dublin's minor footballers who defeated Limerick. Hard luck to Orlaith Durkan with Dublin's Senior Camogie who lost to Cork.

Clubhouse will be open for Dublin' NFL game V Cork on Sat 1st March. All very welcome.

Juvenile Academy continues on Sat mornings at 10am(football only). Contact Stephen GPO for more details. Club shop open on Sat mornings from 10.30am.

Sunday 2nd march fixtures: Junior Hurlers V Good Counsel in AHL5 at Home 12 noon, and Minor football V Whitehall in Cloghran at 11am. For all other fixtures, results, news and updates see the website skerriesharps.ie.
