The postponed Christmas Golf Outing in aid of the local St. Vincent De Paul will now take place today Fri 21st Feb at Skerries GC. Tee times 10am to 11.30am can be booked with Paul Murray 0851740474

We had No Winners of our Jackpot last night in the Gladstone so the Jackpot is now a fantastic €3,900. Nice Prize! Sun Holiday for two in the making!! Membership and Player Injury fund fees are now due and may be paid online or to club registrar David Watson. See full details at: http://www.skerriesharps.ie/club-membership . Members note: The Mandatory Players Injury Scheme does not seek to compensate fully for injury but to supplement other Schemes such as Health Insurance.  Ultimately, the responsibility to ensure that adequate cover is in place lies with the individual member. Players must be paid up before playing this season.

Well done to Lyndsey Davey (0-3) and the Dublin ladies footballers on victory over Mayo in the National football league.

Juvenile Academy continues on Sat mornings at 10am(football only). Contact Stephen GPO for more details. Club shop open on Sat mornings from 10.30am.

The Senior football team open their league season on Sunday the 23rd with an away game V Kilmacud Crokes in AFL2. The Junior footballers entertain St.Maurs and Minor Hurlers are at home to Oliver Plunketts both on Sunday morning. Check website for times. Adult (10pm)and Juvenile Games (9pm) Meetings  on Thursday nights have resumed.

The GAA National Club Draw has been launched and Tickets €10 are now available from all club Members. Great Prizes on offer including 1st Prize Trip to 2014 International Rules in Australia for 2, inc match tickets, airline tickets and accommodation. All proceeds from Draw will go to the day to day running of the club. We would request all members to sell tickets. Anyone who has not already got tickets Please Contact Fergal 0868984657 or Catherine 0863452754 and we will organise them. This is a very important fundraiser. Closing Date for return of Tickets is 28th Feb.

The Club extends its sympathy to Kay and the Doyle family on the recent death of Kay’s mother Teresa. May she rest in peace.
