The night has finally arrived, the fixtures are in and the boxers are waiting to fight!! Here are some details to help you organise your night:
- First fight is at 7:30pm and the final fight will be at 10:30pm approximately after which some dancing will commence!!!
- Buses start leaving from the clubhouse at 5:45pm till 7pm
- Bus tickets are €10 return or €5 for a single journey , to reserve places contact Fergal 086-8984657 (optional)
- The Clubhouse will be open from 5pm till last bus leaves
- Buses will start returning to Skerries from 12:30am
- A small auction will take place during the interval, watch out for some amazing items!!!!
- Programmes for the night will be free at the entrance
- A lucky dip will be held, priced at €10, with a prize in every envelope.
Tickets are on sale, today, at TMcG bicycle shop on strand street till 5pm today or call Fergal 086-8984657, Niall 086-3015688 or Terry 086-8530246 but Hurry!. No tickets will be on sale at the venue.
On a footballing front, the McMeel's Pharmacy sponsored Footballers made a winning return to the Senior Championship with a hard earned win in difficult conditions against St.Annes by 1-08 to 0-05. Well done also to the U14 Feile hurlers who reached the semi-finals on Sunday, after winning three of their group matches.
On Sunday 27th the club host the riders from the RAS, with BBQ and after race Music from 3pm.
The Annual Schools Tournament Finals on Mon 28th May. Always a Great night. Come along and see the future stars. Contact Paul 0872298276 for more details.
The Summer Camp dates are as follows: Football Camp Mon July 16th to Fri 20th. Hurling/Camogie 30th July to 3rd August. Academy Camp 7th to 10th August. Cul Camp 13th to 17th August. The Football, Hurling/ Camogie and Cul Camps are for children between the ages 8 and 13. The Academy Camp is open to Children between the ages 5 (Must have been in Primary School in June of this year) to age 7. Cost this year has been reduced to €55 with reductions for further family members and for children who attend two or more camps.
Skerries Harps Golf Society (S.H.A.G.S) have their first outing of the season in Balbriggan GC on Fri 8th June. Tee Times from 12am to 2pm. Meal and Presentation of Prizes in Harps clubhouse at 8.30pm. Contact Paul Murray 0851740474 for times and more details.
