There was no winner of this weeks Lotto, the jackpot is not at an even € 11,000. Bet you could think of loads to do with that!!! Well make sure that you are in to win. Bingo There was a very big attendance at bingo last night, however even with 6 numbers to spare going into the jackpot it held out for another week. It now stands at a very nice € 18,200 next week. Just remember it has to go some night and wouldnt it be very nice if you were the lucky person playing that night. Streete Bowls Club For the first time since the club was founded, Streete A team have won the County Leadgue, They beat Mullingar at home with a score of 4.5 to .5 Well done to all and I know that the Chairman Martin Gaynor is one very happy man. The Basil Sullivan Cup has started and will be decided over the next few weeks. Martin Gaynor also reminds everyone that Streete Bowls Club is ALWAYS open to new members, so why not drop down some Tuesday night and be given a lesson in the game. Streete Wildlife Club There is clay shooting every Thursday night down at the shooting grounds. It would be great if more members could help out with these very busy nights. Easter Concert Work is well on its way for the concert on Easter Sunday Night. Stephen Carey says that it is going to be even bigger and better than the concert last year. (If that is possible) This concert is in aid of the sports complex and the walkway. We need to raise much needed monies to make sure we can keep this ope 7 days a week for the people of the parish. There is also going to be a raffel on the night with some really super prizes already recieved. PLEASE DO TELL ALL ABOUT THIS CONCERT as it will be a night not to be missed.
