5K Road Run
Streete's first ever 5K road run will take place next Sunday at 2pm from the Sports Complex. There is huge interest being shown and hopefully we will be blessed with the weather and everyone will have a great day. For those worrying about the All Ireland Replay in hurling against Galway and Kilkenny I have being informed that there WILL BE a TV showing the game for when people get back to the Park. All monies raised fromthis event is to pay off the outstanding monies on the playground and to help keep the Sports Complex open.......PLEASE SUPPORT Crumlin Hospital
Congratulations to Kirsty and Irene Kenny who raised € 3,255 for Crumlin Hospital at their Fashon Show last Month. Streete Sports Complex NEW Walkway
Work has been ongoing with our new walkway. We would hope to have it finished this week and then everyone in the parish will have no excuse to come out and loose those few pounds while having a safe place to walk. The walkway will be lit up and is also buggy friendly. We hope that all will enjoy this great new faciality. Streete Sports Complex Web Site
There has been ongoing work happening to our site. The Home Page still needs to be updated but there are also new pages added to the site. You can also view some photos from our tractor run in July and our vintage day. This is page that I hope to add lots pf photos to after different events. www.streetesportscomplex.ie You will all be glad to see I am not going to talk about wine this week, I am just back from Italy and in three weeks time I have thee wine dinner happening in the Diamond Coast Hotel Enniscrone so I am recovering and saving myself for this wonderful experience when I will be tasting and chatting to one of the best wine makers in the world.
